Encouraging words...

Pretty Flowers





Ha! After several weeks of trying to post a picture or two, I think I figured it out!... and all that was different was a little picture icon in the 'create post' page. So folks, that's why I'm not a computer tech guy.
Anyways, these pics were taken in August... flowers around my house.
So, seeing as there's an anatomy bellringer tomorrow morn, I better split. Just be glad I posted flowers and not study pictures!!!

Oh man!

I can't believe I'm starting a blog. Do I have time for this? Maybe... maybe not. At the very least I guess it can be somewhere to post thoughts and ideas. Let's just hope it doesn't become a crazy consuming thing.
So it's the beginning of another school year. Two weeks in and still so much to do just to set up so I'm ready to start! yikes. And here I am posting a message - not exactly on the to do list. Oh well.
Here's some food for thought... a "verse of the week", if you will:

I remember my affliction and my wandering,
the bitterness and the gall.
I well remember them,
and my soul is downcast within me.
Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope:
Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for Him."
